Over 21000 graves , the largest German cemetery in Normandy which at first used to be also the burial site to 800 Americans.
 

 
225 Rangers under the leadership of Colonel Rudder, they fought for 2 days & only 90 of them came out alive...

Recently renovated these 4 German gun batteries built in 1942 as part of the Atlantic Wall defenses. They are the only ones in the area with guns still inside almost intact in Longues sur Mer!
